The Truth Shall Set You Free

The media have for so many years tried to inflict self-hate among black people. As a people we need to stand above that by not letting them determine the course of our future. We need to equip ourselves with the truth. The truth is that skin tone does not make you better looking or superior. We all are made in God's image and he does not make mistakes.

I am a dark skin woman and there was a point where I thought dark skin people, both men and women, where not as good looking as light-skinned people. Subconsciously the media try to create images in our head about what we should perceive to be attractive for the aim of dividing us. we should really be conscious of this and try to conquer our prejudice, because when you lower other people's estimation it is likely that you will never feel good about yourself because there is and always going to be somebody better than you.
